India won the 2013 edition of Border Gavaskar Trophy by trouncing Australia. India won the series 4-0 in the 4-match test series to complete a clean sweep over the Aussies. Ravichandran Ashwin was adjudged the man-of-the series for picking up 29 wickets in the 4 tests. The series also witnessed the entry of debutant Shikhar Dhawan who made his presence felt with a superb knock of 187 in the third test.

Test at Mohali, scoring from 85 balls. His final score was 187 which is
also the highest score by an Indian on debut
