The series also witnessed the entry of debutant Shikhar Dhawan who made his presence felt with a superb knock of 187 in the third test.
Shikhar Dhawan scored the fastest century on Test debut in the Third Test at Mohali, scoring from 85 balls. His final score was 187 which is also the highest score by an Indian on debut
